Dise Plastics Inc. is a supplier of custom plastic trays for automation, material handling, packaging and storage applications. We have been working with Integrators and end users for 18 years to provide solutions to tray material handling problems. Many applications involve integrating our products with modular tray handler equipment.

The molds are made of CNC machined aluminum to obtain precision pocket details. Accuracy of the pockets with respect to the location points on the trays walls is +/- .010". In most applications the plastic material used is ABS because it is dimensionally stable, and its high impact properties meet the demands of the industrial material handling and shipping environment.
 

Trays are often molded as a single piece, but some applications may require a removable insert for future product changes. Trays can also be fabricated using multiple partitions to hold tall narrow parts, and some designs incorporate steel bushings with CNC machined pockets to achieve very high accuracies (+/- .004").

In some cases a plastic insert is designed to mate with an Orbis style modular container.

We work with application and mechanical designers to establish specifications and then provide the final design. In many cases a sample part nest or full prototype is made to ensure proper part-to-tray fit. On all projects 1stoff pre-production trays are molded for design approval.
